Final planned driver release, with a feature improvement and miscellaneous bug fixes.
THIS INTEL GRAPHICS DRIVER PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR:
- 4th Generation Intel Core Processors with Intel HD graphics, Intel Iris graphics and Intel Iris Pro graphics and select Pentium/ Celeron Processors with Intel HD graphics for Microsoft Windows 8.1, Microsoft Windows 8 and Microsoft Windows 7 operating systems.
NOTABLE FEATURES:
- Intel graphics drivers now accessible to 3rd party EDID tools
- It is now possible to use 3rd party EDID utilities to manipulate EDID settings to create custom modes. This feature is for advanced users only.
CONTENTS OF THE PACKAGE:
- Intel Iris, Iris Pro and HD Graphics Driver
- Intel Display Audio Driver
- Intel Media SDK Runtime
- Intel OpenCL Driver
- Intel Graphics Control Panel
KEY ISSUES FIXED:
- Black screen or app crash may happen when system kept idle with "turn off the display" and show the home page which uses JavaScript. Method to allocate and de-allocate memory was causing this issue. Driver optimizations fixed this.
- Slow transition from one page to another is seen when running a custom application. This issue was due to the application submitting large amounts of small workloads causing the performance degradation. Driver optimizations improve performance.
- Corruption seen during Fifa '17 game play. Gfx 3D shader component had issues with rendering. Optimizations to redering code resolve this issue
- Missing text characters in the sentence. Issue is with display list concatenation. Corruptions occur when a display list with more than one draw call is encountered. This is now handled correctly from driver.
- Memory Leak in paging pool causing app failure while running JavaScript in monitor off conditions. Adjusted the deferred de-allocate implementation
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Doom 3 - Corruption is seen in the main menu and in the intro of the game
- Two active taskbars sometimes seen when hot unplugging DP monitor in extended mode
- Corruption seen on Outlook 2013 reports
- Hitman Absolution game stops after cinematic when quality settings are high
- Green corruption seen with Overlay + YUV +xvYcc/YCbCr enabled on HDMI
- Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain- Corruption on water
- Angry Birds - Corruption is seen During Maximizing & Minimizing
- Overlay application does not work when opening it in dual display configuration with a tiled display and eDP
VERSIONS:
- Intel Graphics Driver: 10.18.14.4578
- Intel Display Audio Driver: 6.16.0.3174

ABOUT GRAPHICS DRIVERS:
While installing the graphics driver allows the system to properly recognize the chipset and the card manufacturer, updating the video driver can bring about various changes.
It can improve the overall graphics experience and performance in either games or various engineering software applications, include support for newly developed technologies, add compatibility with newer GPU chipsets, or resolve different problems that might have been encountered.
When it comes to applying this release, the installation steps should be a breeze, as each manufacturer tries to make them as easy as possible so that each user can update the GPU on their own and with minimum risks (however, check to see if this download supports your graphics chipset).
Therefore, get the package (extract it if necessary), run the setup, follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation, and make sure you reboot the system so that the changes take effect.
That being said, download the driver, apply it on your system, and enjoy your newly updated graphics card. Moreover, check with our website as often as possible in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
